This year, rather than tinkering, we’ve completely re-thought the site and made some big changes. We excited about the slick new look, and pawsome new tricks … so, to celebrate, we’re giving away a stay at the Arizona Bilmore Resort!

New Home Page
The most obvious change is our spiffy new home page … where the search for all things pet friendly begins. The new option to “Search by City” is super sweet (more on that in a minute). If the old method of searching tripped your trigger, have no fear – it’s still available by clicking the “Search by Category” tab. And, for those of you who road trip with us vicariously, this is where you’ll get your daily dose of pet travel. From this page you can connect with us through social media, get a fix on our location on the map, see what we’ve been posting on Facebook, and get the latest updates from the blog!
New City Search
As I mentioned, we’re drooling over this new “Search by City,” because now you can enter a city where you’d like to spend more time with your pet and – on one page – get a snapshot of the hotels, restaurants, activities, service providers, and campgrounds in the area. Want to see all your options? Just click “See All” in the title of each category and you’ll see a complete list of the locations from our database.
More Involvement From YOU
The more insights and tips people have, the better – so we’ve made it easier for you to share your experience and advice! If you visited a city and want to pass along what you learned, or if you received great (or not great) service at a hotel, campground, or other business – now you can leave a note here to benefit other pet travelers. Look for this comment box at the bottom of the “Search by City” pages or the business detail pages and leave your mark.
Pet Friendly Road Trip Planner
The pet friendly road trip planner also got an overhaul. In addition to a more intuitive design, we’ve added the ability to save and manage multiple road trips in your profile. That gives you the ability to do a little planning today and come back tomorrow or next week to fine-tune your trip. Just remember, you need to be a registered user of the site to retain your plans – so be sure to sign up before you start mapping your next trip.
Construction Ahead
As with any construction project, there are likely to be a few bumps in the road. We’ll be working out the bugs and tweaking things over the next couple weeks and we appreciate your patience while we continue to make improvements.

Contest Rules
The contest runs from 10am EST February 11, 2013 to 11:59 pm EST March 6, 2013. This contest is open only to US and Canadian residents over the age of 18, except where prohibited. All contest entries will be assigned a number and the winning number will be picked using www.randomizer.org. We will contact the winner by email no later than March 8, 2013. The decision of the judges is final. The winner has 3 days to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed by the winner within 3 days, an alternate winner will be chosen from the pool of entries. The winner of the prize is responsible for any and all travel expenses and applicable taxes on the prize. The prize is valid for one year from the end of the contest. Travel expenses to and from the resort are not included. Employees and relatives of GoPetFriendly.com, LIFE+DOG and Arizona Biltmore are not eligible to win.
